Using Freely

Freely gives opinionated verdicts on jobs and freelance opportunities based on the details you provide and the text of a listing. You need an account for the pipeline, benchmarks and profile features. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information — wrong rates or an inaccurate profile produce wrong verdicts.

What a verdict is

A verdict is an opinion generated from limited information, not professional, legal, financial or career advice. Freely can be wrong, and listings can be misleading. Every decision to pursue, decline or price a piece of work remains yours.

Third-party listings

Opportunities shown in Discover come from third-party platforms via their public APIs. Freely does not vet clients, verify budgets, or take part in your contracts, payments or disputes. Terms of the originating platform apply to anything you do there.

Your content

You keep ownership of your CV, profile and anything you paste in. You grant Freely permission to process that content solely to produce your verdicts and profile, as described in the privacy policy. Do not upload material you have no right to share, or the personal data of other people.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape Freely, resell its output as your own service, attempt to bypass access controls, or submit content that is unlawful. Accounts that do may be suspended.

Availability and liability

Freely is provided as-is, without warranty. Availability of live listings depends on third-party APIs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Freely is not liable for lost work, lost income, or any indirect losses arising from decisions made using it.
